My friendship with Derek Powazek started when I cast him to play a gangster in his freshman year of high school. He loved playing the role and I loved him in the part. Since then we have shared many (mis)adventures and learning experiences. Without him I wouldn't be doing many of the things that I do these days (like designing this website). He has been a kind and supportive friend who continually amazes me with his talents and insight. And I can grow a beard and he can't.
